Volunteer at Rendezvous
August 7-11, 2024
For 30 years, Rendezvous has been a beloved event and has been a critical fundraising event for Wyoming Equality. With your help as a volunteer, you are building a fairer, kinder Wyoming.
When you sign up as a volunteer, a $20 hold will be placed on your card; this amount can be refunded upon completion of all volunteer duties. Volunteers are awarded $20/hour. To cover the cost of one full event ticket, you will need to volunteer for 7.5 hours. We will have you check in with Rendezvous event representatives to verify and validate your volunteer hours. Failure to complete the volunteer duties and hours for which you have committed will result in your card being charged the remainder of the full ticket price. All volunteers are required to attend setup and teardown, during which time food will be provided. Volunteers will also be provided with shower tickets as well as tickets for all meals — see sample camp meal menu below.
While we know we’ll be camping in the Medicine Bow National Forest, we’re still working with the Forest Service to determine the exact location. We’ll email you a map with detailed directions to our campsite once we know where we’ll be. Dogs are allowed to camp with us. However, please be sure to bring a leash and proof of Rabies vaccination. Dogs must be on a leash, in your RV, or in a kennel at all times. While we’re excited to meet your pup, they are not welcome at the main camp. Thank you again for volunteering, and we look forward to seeing you in August!
