Rendezvous, the famous LGBTQ campout, gets a big glow-up for its 30th anniversary.

For three decades, Rendezvous has been a beloved queer campout, known all over the country. It has drawn hundreds of attendees since the late 1980s, and raises considerable funds for Wyoming’s only statewide LGBTQ+ advocacy organization.

With a record like that, it’s only fitting that it should have an extra air of celebration. Making this exceptional event happen - and reach exciting new heights - is a tireless committee of volunteers, themselves all former campers.

As previous participants, members of this committee are determined to ensure that everyone has a great experience. One aim is promoting diversity, and that starts at the top: the committee has representation from across the gender spectrum. Social hours just for the lesbian and trans communities are just one of the ways the committee are working hard to create an inclusive, affirming space for all.

Another aim is a range of events and entertainment: old favorites will return, while an incredible lineup of new experiences will thrill campers.
