Providers are added to our healthcare directory based on recommendation by other LGBTQ+ individuals, training on LGBTQ+ health issues, and participation in LGBTQ+ health programs such as the GLMA. A provider can request to be added, and will be approved for the list based on proficiency in creating an affirming health office environment.

Due to threats to safety including the leaking of doctor’s personal information, we keep the full directory private and offer information based on patient requests. As we want to protect patient safety as well, we will not tell a provider or their clinic staff a patient’s name unless explicitly told to do so.
