LGBT Wyomingites don’t have sufficient protections from facing discrimination simply because of who they are or who they love. We live in a state where there are no explicit state laws protecting LGBT people from being unfairly fired from their jobs, kicked out of their homes, or denied services in restaurants, shops, and public spaces.
Over the past 25+ years, Wyoming Equality has fought against this discrimination, building capacity for our state and local partners, moving LGBT-inclusive non-discrimination legislation forward, beating back anti-LGBT laws, and pursuing the critical education work that will help more Americans understand what it means to be transgender and why explicit protections are so vital.
I want to thank you for all that you have done to support Wyoming Equality. You have written to your lawmakers, gotten the word out on social media, and shared your stories in an effort to move non-discrimination forward. Now, I’m asking you to support our work by making a small donation.
Today is Give OUT day, a national day of giving for the LGBT community. Will you make a difference today by donating $10, $25, $50 or more to the campaign to end LGBT-discrimination once and for all?
